@smokey Heh! It’s more the latter, I’d say. Up here in the north, February is the longest month, when the charm of winter has finally worn off: the snow is old and filthy; parking lots and sidewalks, after several thaws and refreezes, are slick and treacherous tumbles of eskers and drumlins; and everyone is trying not to think about that last blizzard of March. It’s enough to make a person actually look forward to the cold rains and sloppy thaws of April…
