@crossingthethreshold We, in fact, never even owned a car while we lived there! There was a Zipcar station across the street, so for big grocery runs and the like, we’d just grab one for a few hours. Otherwise, like you, we walked or MAXed everywhere. I heartily agree that there’s quite a lot to love about the place. But living there was, for us, the difference between surviving and thriving.
